Overview

This position is on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

 

As apetito Product Administrator you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining product data across multiple systems—ensuring seamless integration with our business operations. You'll be at the heart of the product lifecycle for all apetito SKUs, supporting every product area and sales channel. From regulatory compliance to enabling Commercial, Development, and Operational teams, your work will directly impact our daily operation and continued success.

 

You’ll be part of our multi-functional Product Development Team, a dynamic group including chefs, developers, technologists, dietitians and other specialists. Together, we bring a broad skill set supporting our goal to create innovative, high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and the business.

 

We are looking for a detail-driven individual with strong IT skills, a passion for data accuracy, and a proactive mindset ready to join our team and help us make a real difference.

apetito is the UK's leading food supplier to the health and social care sectors serving more than 1,300 care homes, health care and education settings.

Wiltshire Farm Foods, our sister company, is the UK's largest ready meal supplier cooking and delivering over 330 different delicious frozen ready meals across the UK.

Responsibilities

SAP Master Data Management

  • Create and maintain SAP master data for all finished products within the apetito portfolio
  • Input volumes , product data and maintain shelf-life data and lab. testing classifications
  • Manage product status, define sales options, categorise products for statistical reporting
  • Manage product status for delisted stock exit

 

Product Information Management (PIM)

  • Manage data mapping to integrate with the NPD recipe systemOwn and maintain all PIM product data
  • HFSS calculations
  • Oversee data model management and create reports

 

 

Other responsibilities

  • Maintain product, ingredient and specification databases to support development activities
  • Label approvals
  • Drive continuous improvement in data processes and systems
  • Maintain “live product” and “where used” lists and product information sheet tracker
  • Commercial and systems support for the development team
  • Provide monthly product sales data
  • Update Dynamics product data
  • Product development lead for new and amended systems

 

Qualifications/Personal Qualities

Skills & qualifications

  • Sound understanding and experience with SAP, PIM and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with data integration between multiple systems
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple data sources and ensure consistency
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Good commercial awareness and financial understanding
  • An understanding of consumer food law & it’s application
  • Previous experience within a food production/ retail environment desirable
